NoiseAware is a noise protection service built to reduce the risk of property damage and noise complaints in short term rentals via a network of on-site sensors. Their first generation product entered the market quickly to fill this need and rapidly gained a devoted following. Thrilled with their early success, NoiseAware was ready to get serious about their growth and needed their product to match their ambition – so they called M3.

Foundations for a Rising Startup

  1. Identify and reconcile the needs of property owners, guests, installers, and managers, and the desire to deliver a standout design and brand identity in a short-term rental environment that demands inconspicuous operation of IoT products.
  2. Propel NoiseAware forward as the market leader in noise protection services by integrating the physical and digital product to enable enterprise-scale installation.
  3. Develop an outdoor sensor to extend coverage and integrate the physical and digital product to enable enterprise-scale installation.

M3 began by exploring how various wireless technologies affect the size, communication range, reliability, and provisioning of the sensors. Simultaneously, M3 evaluated the architectural impacts of tamper-prevention and sensor placement flexibility.

Full Coverage Monitoring

The result is a combination of outlet-mounted Collectors and weatherproof, battery-powered Nodes, which combine to monitor both indoor and outdoor spaces.

It is such an amazing product. I've benefited greatly by using the NoiseAware units. I own 15 properties and some of them are in residential buildings where the neighbors are very sensitive and this has made those issues disappear! I love NoiseAware.
