At M3 Design, we do great work and finish well. The world’s leading companies trust us to solve their toughest business challenges with great product development and customer experience designs.
We have a unique culture where our engineering and industrial design teams work side-by-side from start to finish on our client projects. We don’t separate the strategy or concepts from the people doing the work. We create immersive experiences and products by taking the time to immerse ourselves through our stakeholder centered design process.
Best of all, we’re involved in high-stakes design—our solutions must be scalable and work as advertised, every time. We understand that our clients have one shot to see a product on the production line, in the hands of surgeons or keeps customers coming back, we’re here to help realize that goal.
Do you think you have what it takes to make it on our team? If so, you’re in the right place.
Beyond the typical benefits expected of any design firm in Austin today (healthcare, 401K match, cool workspace, dogs in the office, weekly breakfast tacos and Friday afternoon beer runs), we pride ourselves in making our workplace a fun place to be! From our CEO and COO who make a mean steak….to our annual pumpkin chuckin’ contest in October…to our Fantasy Football toilet seat losing team member, we believe in laughing, working hard and having fun!
As you could tell from above, we love our culture! Our foundational values—integrity, genuine, relentless, fun—are at the core of this environment. Our employees rate our culture as the #1 reason they love coming into work every day!
To start, we review individuals’ resumes and portfolios. Should there be a fit, we will reach out to confirm role, salary expectations, and schedule a phone interview.
Through a phone interview or studio meet & greet (if you happen to be in town), we dive deeper into your skills and career expectations. We assess how well you align with our values and what you can bring to the team.
Finally, we schedule an extended on-site interview so you can meet several team members. and tour the studio. This session is tailored to each candidate, but activities usually include you presenting on past work going into detail on a project or two that highlight your capabilities and problem solving process. We then have you meet with the team members in small groups for a Q&A. We want to get to know you while you learn about us.
